Advanced Idiomatic English

We offer this service to professional people within the European Union who make regular use of English in their work. The service aims to enhance the client’s powers of expression and to develop his/her ability to appreciate nuance and fine distinctions.  The use of figurative speech is investigated in this context. The service also concentrates on questions of aspect in the verbal system, with particular emphasis on periphrastic and compound verbal constructions. Comparison with the syntax of German, French and other languages may serve to assist the client on his/her way to speaking and writing English like a native.
